I was responsible for the visual/audio re-design of the UI for a few older but popular games on TVOkids. I recreated UI elements including buttons, backgrounds, dialog boxes, as well as sourcing new SFX and music to make the games more accessible and give them a more modern look.

Matching Game - Looky Looky

The original version of Looky Looky was made within a limited 1:1 ratio play area. Our team expanded the area to allow larger type and a ratio that would fit most screens and devices. Backgrounds, dialogs, win screens, feedback effects and other UI elements were all recreated from scratch.

Strategy - Pirates Maps and Traps

Pirates Maps and Traps had accessibility issues with colour, type size, feedback visuals and vague instructions on how to play. Working with the game designer, we expanded the how-to-play page with clearer writing and supporting graphics. I revamped the game play screen and updated feedback effects to make gameplay more engaging. Original character designs were kept.
